Project
The proposed study aims to analyze the implementation of SDG 11 in Glasgow UK, examining the specific challenges of global indicators in the UK national context. Initially, the existing urban interactions in different levels developed in the UK based on the SDG global targets, considering the lessons from MDGs implementation, will be evaluated and distinct national and local indicators for the performance of SDG11 in British municipalities will be analyzed. In so doing, a specific number of municipalities/city councils in Glasgow and neighboring cities will be chosen to perform case studies to explore how different actor groups in municipalities define the national indicators and how they translate SDG11 at a local level.
