Introduction
My core area of research interest is on fieldwork for endangered species i.e., assessment of conservation status (categories & criteria of the IUCN Red List of Threatened species 2001), identify seed dormancy, develop methods to overcome it and to produce seedlings for reintroduction. To understand phenology and life cycle traits of endangered species related to climate change. Presently I have been working in Western Ghats of India, a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the eight “Hottest hot-spots” of biological diversity in the world.
