This is my PhD project and the goal of my study is to identify Scandinavian mentality and practices towards known poisons purchased in pharmacies in the given time period. We know that poison and poisonous are culturally constructed terms and therefor they are subject to change. Why and how does the understanding of these terms come to change, and what are the consequences of such shifts?
