The objective of this article is to evaluate the ten EURO 2016 footballs stadiums in order to assess net social and private benefits among the different funding schemes (private, PPP and public). The methodology used is based on a cost benefit analysis aiming at considering costs and benefits on a large perimeter: from the operator public or private bearing the risk of the project, the club, the local authorities, the State, the immediate neighbourhood, the third parties and more widely the community at large.
