Introduction
Anna Zbierska currently works at the Department of Land Improvement, Environmental Development and Geodesy, Poznań University of Life Sciences. Anna does research in Environmental Science, Urban/Rural Sociology and Biogeography. Their scientific interests concern on landscape planning and land use changes, including the quality and quantity of water, and impact of this changes on the agricultural landscape (unplanned urban sprawl, fragmentation of natural areas, local droughts and flooding, water retention). Especially She's focused on the possibility of using remote sensing, geographic information system (GIS) technology and sustainable development indicators for modeling landscape and environment changes caused by the human activity.
