I mostly work on the acquisition and usage dynamics of lexical semantics, word formation, and lexicosyntax in multilingual contexts such as L1/L2 contrastive studies and heritage language studies. In our research group, we aim to exploit the full depth of linguistic analysis in corpus studies through careful linguistic modeling, iterative manual annotation of small(ish) corpora, and a focus on the development of adequate and epistemologically embedded quantitative methodology.
