Neural processes of visual recognition for words and pictures (faces/objects) in gifted adults: an EEG study with Fast Periodic Visual Stimulation
Project
The aim of this project is to study the neuronal activity of hight potential people during high-level visual recognition using EEG. Our hypotheses are twofold: (A) HP adults process and recognize culturally learned high-level visual information faster than non-HP adults and (B) neuronal lateralization pattern will differ between HP and non-HP subjects, such that activity distribution will be less lateralized in HPs. We will use sweep and FPVS-EEG.
