Introduction
In my research I concern about searching fuzzy or uncertain knowledge written in the semantic network, especially in the Semantic Web. Lately, my research are about the information granulation in this system. Moreover topics which I consider are: fuzzy and rough sets, attributive language AL, description logic DL and information retrieval.

The paper presents a certain class of the mathematical models of diagnostic information
granules describing the fuzzy symptoms-faults relationship. A certain fuzzy diagnostic information retrieval system is described as an application of an expert diagnostic system. Symptoms and faults are fuzzy, and with some scaling of the symptom-fault concept p...
The paper presents the application of the scale algorithm for computations in two-dimensional spaces. The paper provides a conceptual framework for building algorithms for acquiring diagnostic knowledge about a technical object, for which the symptoms-faults relationship is binary according to the tests. When symptoms and faults are fuzzy, with som...
Artificial intelligence has been developed since the beginning of IT systems. Today there are many AI techniques that are successfully applied. Most of the AI field is, however, concerned with the so-called “narrow AI” demonstrating intelligence only in specialized areas. There is a need to work on general AI solutions that would constitute a frame...
The following paper presents deductive theories of n-Pythagorean fuzzy sets (n-PFS). N-PFS objects are a generalization of the intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) and the Yager Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs). Until now, the values of membership and non-membership functions have been described on a one-to-one scale and a quadratic function scale. There...
In this paper, a postulation on the relationship between the memory structure of the brain’s neural network and the representation of information granules in the semantic web is presented. In order to show this connection, abstract operations of inducing information granules are proposed to be used for the proposed logical operations systems, herei...
This paper presents the application of abstraction methods in creating concepts that allow to describe and solve more complex problems of knowledge representation in semantic networks. In the Semantic Web, knowledge is represented by the attributive language AL. There are many information granules theories formulated in different theories such as s...
In the Semantic Web, during searching information, we can get precise answer for our searching query, even if we have uncertain, vague or unclear information. This positive result of searching information depends on expert choices of acceptable fuzzy degrees for concepts and roles, and also depends on appropriate description of concepts and roles i...
An agent searching information on the Web processes finite sets of knowledge descriptions. By analogy to processes of consciousness, the knowledge is (1) assertions – what agent knows, (2) concepts – what agent has knowledge of and (3) axioms – what agent conceives by conceiving rules. An information retrieval system in which the agent knows about...
Diagnostic knowledge about chosen technical classes of objects can be effective gained by analyzing Internet webpages. In this paper for analyzing these data is proposed the data granulation method. Information granules are mathematical models describing data aggregates. Data aggregates are connected with each other and described by the Fuzzy Descr...
This chapter presents the theoretical basis of the vague knowledge search algorithmization of a rough method. It introduces some data granulation method which aggregates this data as rough sets of data or ways to search this data in the semantic networks. As a result of this method is the possibility of the rough sets description, analogically to s...
In this paper will be defined the diagnostic agent that finds information about the constructional and technological preferences of the customers for a reference technical object. Based on this agent can be implemented an uncertain system that can be used to define customers preferences. For imprecise information from users this system would give t...
In the Dempster-Shafer's theory of evidence, for incorporating uncertainty, the valuation assigns to the data tables the degrees of belief for these data. Firstly, we are looking for the answers to the following questions. Is there a valuation-based system in which combination and marginalization operate on valuations? Has this system prosperities...
Current methods of data mining, word sense disambiguation in the information retrieval, semantic relation, fuzzy sets theory, fuzzy description logic, fuzzy ontology and their implementation, omit the existence of paradox called here the paradox of the fuzzy disambiguation. The paradox lies in the fact that due to fuzzy data and the experts knowled...
In the literature, fuzzification of knowledge in the semantic networks has been precisely defined [2, 14, 15, 16, 17]. To define knowledge fuzzification there was used the logic language Description Logic (DL), precisely fuzzyDL. In this paper fuzzification of knowledge is identified with a function interpreting expressions in the DL language in th...

A consortium of the Opole University of Technology and the University of Opole (leader) carry out a project named “System for assessing and monitoring the level of cyber security of IoE/IoT devices of citizens of the Republic of Poland” founded by National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR).
The main goal of the project is the design and deployment of computer system, that measures the level of cyberthreats and supports citizens in the security of IoT devices. The system addresses the cybersecurity issue of the Republic of Poland using data science techniques.

We are working on language for autonomous systems of general-purpose. The language would constitute a framework enabling the integration of already developed narrow solutions and contribute to solving general problems.
The goal is to describe system in which the fuzzy or uncertain knowledge can be found in the semantic network, especially in the Semantic Web. Such system must be described by mathematic and logic and all element of this system must be defined. Moreover, the is used information granulation in order to simplify calculations in information retrieval.
