Terahertz (THz) imaging is a non-invasive and high spatial-resolution technique that uses non-ionizing electromagnetic signals in a frequency range of 0.1–10 THz. Hence, this article focuses on diverse THz imaging techniques, THz antennas and designing methods, image reconstruction algorithms, and its applications. The antennas include planar patch...

This work presents a 12-element 360° azimuth plane scanning planar circular antenna array for compact THz wireless devices. Proposed array comprises of 12 bow-tie Yagi-Uda directional antennas, operating within 0.235–0.322 THz band where each antenna achieves a maximum radiation beam for an angle of around 30°, arranged in a circular fashion to cov...
Chapter
This work presents a design of 10-element symmetric series fed non-uniform planar antenna array operating at 0.3 THz and exhibiting high directional radiation pattern along the upper hemisphere. An impedance bandwidth of range 0.294–0.313 THz and a peak gain (dBi) of 13.26 at 0.3 THz are noted. Gold material of thickness 5 µm and silicon dioxide (S...

A probe-fed circularly polarized stacked patch antenna is presented and simulated by using Commercial Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator. The design consists of two patches and two substrates. The bottom patch is square-shaped where as the top patch is of triangular-shaped. T-shaped slots parallel to the edges of the patches are inserted so...

A novel miniaturized design of a multiple slotted antenna is designed and simulation results are presented in this paper. The proposed antenna uses I-, U-and inverted L-shaped slots in the radiation patch. The resonance frequencies can be controlled by adjusting the dimensions of the slots. The proposed antenna can meet the demand of WLAN, HIPERLAN...

In wireless as well as networking communications technologies, VANETs have been developed as a result of the advances in the past few centuries. The traffic safety and efficiency can be improved by the usage of the VANET. A wireless communication device termed by means of an on board unit (OBU) is involved by each vehicle that functions using the I...

Our final aim is to implement a high energy economical information transmission protocol for Mobile adhoc network. We have got selected our analysis domain energy management system in MANET. Cooperative communication could be a hopeful technique for saving the energy consumption in MANETs. CC is not forever energy economical compared to transmissio...

A multi-band microstrip patch antenna is developed and presented in this paper. The radiating elements in this antenna are composed of rectangular and triangular slots. These slots are engraved in the rectangular and triangular patch, joined together in one structure, and by single probe feed. The rectangular and triangular slots make the antenna t...

This project explains about the energy efficiency (EE) maximization problem in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) two-way relay networks with continuous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT). The network consists of a multiple-antenna amplify-and-forward relay node which provides bidirectional communications between two multiple antenn...

Question
Greetings! I was wondering if there are any individuals or groups currently working on THz imaging reconstruction algorithms using MATLAB. I am in search of THz image datasets, which are images obtained through THz time-domain spectroscopy (TDS) and terahertz pulsed imaging (TPI). Can you provide some guidance on where I can obtain these datasets?
