Introduction
I am the Executive/Scientific Director of the Centre for Logistics and Traffic, University of Duisburg-Essen. Sustainable Economies and the transformation frameworks towards sustainable and smart governance are in the focus of my research and teaching agenda since more than thirteen years. I have developed specific expertise in sustainable and smart (urban) regions, sustainable supply chain management, holistic (urban) mobility and logistics systems, digital and innovative business ecosystems.
