I am interested in theoretical frameworks to understand why services to agriculture are increasing and what role services play in improving the competitiveness of small farmers.
I look to different types of services: operational services (machinery,..) and also knowledge-based services (advice, extension...).
I need to set a sample for a dairy farmers' survey in Galicia (NW Spain). and I need to keep the number of farmers to be interviewed as small as possible because of economic and time reasons.
In order to set the sample, I have geographic data regarding the number of heads of cattle and agricultural land area.
I really appreciate your advice.
