In this paper, we study how two important ideals of a given Lie algebra \(\mathfrak {g}\) (namely, the center \(Z(\mathfrak {g})\) and the derived Lie algebra \(\mathcal {D}(\mathfrak {g})\) ) can be translated into the language of Graph Theory.
