Introduction
My research explores the relationship between personality and deception in the prison environment. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, my studies focus on inmates’ perspectives on deception, their abilities to produce and detect lies (via the DeceIT task), and how bright traits (Big Five) and dark tendencies (Dark Factor themes) predict deceptive and criminal behavior.
