Introduction
Professor Andreas Papatheodorou is Professor in Industrial and Spatial Economics with Emphasis on Tourism at the Department of Business Administration, University of the Aegean, Greece. Previously he was the Dean of the London College of Hospitality and Tourism at the University of West London. An Oxford MPhil and DPhil graduate, Professor Papatheodorou has published extensively in the areas of air transport and tourism and been involved in a large number of research and consulting projects.
