Introduction
I am a marine trophic ecologist. I study the trophic ecology of many species of mesopelagic fish and squid and top predators (seals, whales and birds) in Antarctic, Southern Ocean, temperate and North Atlantic waters. I am particularly interested in using biogeochemical methods to better understand the role of top predators and intermediate trophic level consumers in food web structure and function.
