Introduction
Born in Catania, Italy, in 1990, Andrea Caruso received the Bachelor Degree in Computer Science in 2014 and the Master Degree in Computer Science in 2016, both summa cum laude, at the University of Catania. Officially qualified to teach Computer Science in the Italian Secondary School, he is now attending his PhD in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering of the University of Catania, focusing on AI, Virtual/Augmented Reality and UAVs Digital Twins in 5G environments.

- I am currently working on DiMoViS, a distributed surveillance system in a 5G environment, focused on delivering AI-driven services for enhanced security. I'm also developing 360° VR encoding solutions, optimized for advanced network environments. Additionally, I'm working on digital twins for UAVs, aimed at improving the simulation, monitoring, and management of drone fleets in complex scenarios.
