Introduction
I am interested in systematics, taxonomy and comparative anatomy of teleosts. Most of my research focus on morphological characters, but recent projects also include molecular evidence for phylogenetic reconstruction, focusing mainly on Characiformes. Current comparative anatomy projects include the studies on sound production and sonic muscles; scales and dermal plates anatomy; and inner ear and otoliths structure.
