Introduction
I am working with widening access to higher education, from a community perspective. I study integration of ICTs into teaching and learning and use Philosophy of Information for understanding emerging ICTs, as learning analytics and adaptive learning. I am now also the coordinator of an EC ERASMUS+ Sector Skills Alliances project ALBATTS with 20 partners in 11 countries, developing ”blueprints” for education and training in the battery and electromobility sector on European level.

Considering blended learning the new normal in higher education has become commonplace. However, as blended learning has evolved, its definition, understanding, model development and practice have become widely varied. Although there is consensus about its pedagogical versatility, there are questions concerning the what-when-how-why-where and for-h...

We often discuss the role of time in relation to pedagogy. Time shapes the organisation of materials, activities and people. Chronology enables an instrumentalist view of time allowing scheduling, setting of deadlines and measurement of time. This industrial view, distinct from the subjective experience, has played a central role in education. Digi...

Project
This project's aim is to develop blueprints and best practises for education and training on all levels for the fast expansion of electromobility in Europe, along the whole value chain. It is funded by the EC through an ERASMUS+ Sector Skills Alliances call. The project will run for 4 years with 20 partners in 12 European countries. The granted budget is just short of 4M€. The coordinator is the Municipality of Skellefteå (me and my colleague Gustaf Ulander).
