Raising and developing fitness abilities are the basis of training process, but their importance to the success in the fight are various for the different ways of fighting different weight and age groups. The primary aim of this study is to define whether there are differences in the structure of the physical preparations of different weight groups („light“, „medium heavy“ and „heavy“) wrestlers, classical style wrestling, at the age of eleven and twelve years old. Secondary aim is to define the structure of the difference in fitness preparations wrestlers, classic ways of wrestling, at the age of eleven and twelve years old. The research was conducted on a sample of 138 boys wrestlers (57 wrestlers boys aged eleven years, and 81 boy wrestlers at the age of twelve years), who were divided depending on their body weight in three groups (I group - the „light” up to 38 kg., group II – „medium heavy” of 38.1 up to 53 kg. and group III – „heavy” of 53.1 kg.). All subjects were exposing to measurements in March 2009. The sample of measurement instruments consisted of 18 tests for evaluation of the anthropometric characteristics, motorical and functional abilities, which are described in detail in the several references. In accordance with the defined objectives of the research, there are posted three alternative hypotheses that treat research problem. All variables for the evaluation of the physical fitness are described in the basic statistical parameters and there was conducted a test of normality distribution. Univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) identified the differences in manifest area of fitness abilities in all three weight groups ("light", "medium heavy" and "severe") of boys wrestlers, and with Discriminate analysis were tested the qualitative differences between them. The procedures of discriminate analysis confirmed the first hypothesis, that there is a statistically significant difference between the different weight of groups of wrestlers in classical style at the age of eleven, in the tests for valuation of the strength of upper and lower extremities and coordination. The research findings confirmed the second hypothesis, that the boys wrestlers in the age of twelve years, different weight groups, in the space of the variables used to evaluation of the physical conditions, are statistically significantly discriminate with one discriminate function, defined as the power of the upper and lower extremities. In accordance with established secondary aim of this study, the results of the study confirm the third hypothesis, regarding the being of discriminate function that statistically significantly discriminates wrestlers of classical style of fighting at the age of eleven at the age of twelve years in the space of the variables used to valuation coordination, flexibility and the frequency of movement. These results indicate the importance of an individual approach to condition training different weight groups of boys classic wrestlers wrestling at the age of eleven and twelve years, taking into account the weight class in which wrestlers belong. Findings and conclusions of this study are going to contribute to the right and better selection and guidance of young boys in classic style of wrestling, more quality planning, programming and implementation of the transformation process of the wrestlers in different weight groups. The practical importance of this work is reflected in the application of the results of research in order to better and more appropriate selection and directing boys in classic style of wrestling, more quality planning, programming and implementation of the fitness training for eleven and twelve years boys wrestlers, of different weight groups.
