Introduction
Ameera Masoud holds a PhD from University of Helsinki. The PhD research focuses on examining integration as a concept, policy, practice, and lived experience, which has problematic consequences for people labelled as refugees and immigrants. Research themes relate to racism, racialization, employability, education, power relations, among others. In my research, I introduced a new concept which I termed as the ‘integrateable’ refugee and immigrant.
