Introduction
I am working as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Computer Science in Kendriya Vidyalaya Bailey Road Patna(Ministry of Education, Govt. of India). I completed my PhD from Department of Computer Science & Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, INDIA in the year 2022. My research concerns retrieval of mathematical information from scientific documents.

The article presents an approach to recognise formula entailment, which concerns finding entailment relationships between pairs of math formulae. As the current formula-similarity-detection approaches fail to account for broader relationships between pairs of math formulae, recognising formula entailment becomes paramount. To this end, a long short...
Recent few years have witnessed a huge surge in the scientific documents on the Web, and consequently, the systems capable of retrieving mathematical information from such documents have also come into being. All the existing systems adopt a suitable strategy to handle a particular challenge of mathematical information retrieval (MIR). However, it...
Detecting entailment relationship between two sentences has profoundly impacted several different application areas of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Though recognizing textual entailment (TE) is amongst the widely studied problems, the research on detecting entailment between pieces of scientific texts is still in its infancy. To this end the...
With increasing popularity of math formula search, a number of Math Information Retrieval (MIR) systems have come into being. Characterized by either conventional text-based techniques or newly evolved formula–centric indexing and search techniques, majority of such MIR systems exhibit applaudable performance. Nonetheless, it is common to observe c...
Machine translation helps resolve language incomprehensibility issues and eases interaction among people from varying linguistic backgrounds. Although corpus-based approaches (statistical and neural) offer reasonable translation accuracy for large-sized corpus, robustness of such approaches lie in their ability to adapt to low-resource languages, w...
A math formula present inside a scientific document is often preceded by its textual description, which is commonly referred to as the context of formula. Annotating context to the formula enriches its semantics, and consequently impacts the retrieval of mathematical contents from scientific documents. Also, with a considerable surety, a context ca...

Intricate math formulae, which majorly constitute the content of scientific documents, add to the complexity of scientific document retrieval. Although modifications in conventional indexing and search mechanisms have eased the complexity and exhibited notable performance, the formula embedding approach to scientific document retrieval sounds equal...
Diverse nature of text contents present in scientific documents and evolving complexity of user queries intended for their retrieval, demand revision in conventional indexing and query search mechanisms to effectively address issues and challenges of Information Retrieval (IR) and Intelligent Data Mining. Conventional boolean model of IR, in partic...
Text emanated from users’ posts and comments on social media constitutes important piece of information for wide ranging Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, such as Sentiment Analysis, Sarcasm Detection, Named Entity Identification, Question Answering and Information Retrieval (IR). Part–of–Speech (POS) tagging, a prerequisite for all s...
Machine Translation bridges communication barriers and eases interaction among people having different linguistic backgrounds. Machine Translation mechanisms exploit a range of techniques and linguistic resources for translation prediction. Neural machine translation (NMT), in particular, seeks optimality in translation through training of neural n...
Ant colony optimisation (ACO) algorithms have been used to discover accurate, and comprehensible classification rules. Discovering exceptions using ACO is an underexplored area of research. Most of the classification algorithms focus on discovering rules with high generality. Since exceptions have low support, these often get ignored as noise. This...
Adding fuzziness to normal classification rules enables the rules to adapt to the real-life decision-making process. Besides, it also adds to the classification accuracy of the obtained model and the rules look more accurate and reasonable. Further improvement in classification accuracy can be achieved by discovering exceptions corresponding to the...
Effective retrieval of mathematical contents from vast corpus of scientific documents demands enhancement in the conventional indexing and searching mechanisms. Indexing mechanism and the choice of semantic similarity measures guide the results of Math Information Retrieval system (MathIRs) to perfection. Tokenization and formula unification are am...
Now a days, searching of specific type of knowledge from the usual standards is very useful in several domains such as medical diagnosis, fraud detection , network traffic anomalies, economic analysis etc. Fuzzy association rules have been developed as a powerful tool for dealing with imprecision in databases and offering a comprehensive representa...
Classification is an important data mining task which facilitates list of decision rules that helps us to predict class of an unseen instance. Various traditional techniques like Decision tress, Neural Networks, SVMs have been used in past for rule mining. Nature Inspired Algorithms (NIAs) are class of algorithms that mimic natural processes and ar...

P.S. I have already gone through few of them, but didn't find the works comprehensible enough:
1. Extracting Definitions of Mathematical Expressions in Scientific Papers
2. Natural Language Processing Methods for Extracting Information from Mathematical Texts
3. Contextual Analysis of Mathematical Expressions for Advanced Mathematical Search
