Introduction
Alina Rusu (biologist and psychologist) is currently Professor at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca and board member of the International Association of Human-Animal Interaction Organisations (IAHAIO). Her professional and research interests are: animal-assisted services, humane education, evolutionary psychology and service-learning. She has received her PhD title in Natural Sciences from University of Zurich, Switzerland, in 2004.
