Introduction
I am currently Ph.D. scholar in Zoology at University of Okara, Okara Pakistan. My area of research is epidemiology and Toxicology. Currently I am working on different research articles. With my research group I am working on different community diseases, their prevalence, risk factors, knowledge, attitude and practices of population towards specific diseases. I am also interested to monitor environmental health through different bio-indicators.

Nanoparticles have emerged as a significant focus of biomedical research due to their unique properties and potential applications in medicine. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of copper carbonate nanoparticles on different biological parameters and protein interactions in albino mice in a broader way by employing experimental a...
Nanoparticles (NPs) are at the forefront as they are providing unprecedented solutions to obstacles and issues in treating neurodegenerative diseases. Due to their size, surface characteristics, and ability to be functionalized, these carriers can directly deliver therapeutics across what is considered one of the main barriers to central nervous sy...
Silver iodide (AgI) nanostructures have been considered as promising candidates for optical biosensors owing to their optical characteristics of optical properties, including tunable surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and fluorescence enhancement. Such properties let one analyze biomolecules with high sensitivity, which makes them ultra-useful in diag...
Background/Objectives: Metallic NPs have been explored for various therapeutic uses owing to utilitarian physicochemical characteristics such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties. The objective of this study is to evaluate the therapeutic potential of novel silver carbonate nanostructures in promoting wound healing and their...
Ironically, air pollution is one of the most serious environmental issues of Pakistan. In
this study, different cities including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta
were selected to analyze the relationship of different gases in air such as carbon
monoxide CO, nitrogen dioxide NO2, sulphur dioxide SO2, methane CH4, ozone O3,
and partic...
Imidacloprid is the most extensively used insecticide against agricultural insect pests
in recent times; unfortunately, their excessive use has some detrimental effect to nontarget organism such as fish and ultimately humans. In this research work
Oreochromis niloticus (Gift Tilapia) was exposed to very low sublethal concentration
of imidacloprid f...
Various industries release their effluents untreated into the water. They have reasonable concentrations of heavy metals that are poisonous or carcinogenic in nature, posing serious health risks to humans and aquatic habitats. Therefore, removal of heavy metal from wastewater is a critical issue. Adsorption technique commonly used for the removal o...
The present study was aimed to understand the dose-dependent effects of cobalt carbonate nanoparticles (CoCO3 NPs), impacts on the antioxidant systems, hematological parameters, and organ morphology of albino mice. Furthermore, impacts on liver and kidney function and influence on lipid profiles and antioxidant enzyme activities were assessed in al...
The presence of heavy metals (HMs) on Earth is essential to all forms of life. These metals are essential for plant and animal development but can have numerous negative effects on the living environment. In this review, we looked at where HMs come from, why they are harmful, and how they affect plants. Articles indexed in Google Scholar, PubMed, R...
Nanomaterials represent a cutting-edge frontier in the evolution of medical therapies and diagnostics, offering precise mechanisms for
targeting diseases at a molecular level. This review explores the multifaceted applications of metal-based nanomaterials within the medical
field, emphasizing recent advancements in targeted therapies, diagnostic...
The heavy metal burden on natural freshwater ecosystems is uninterruptedly increasing, which could affect their biodiversity, particularly regarding avian species. Three river barrages were selected for the sampling of water birds from autumn 2021 to spring 2022. Seven heavy metals—nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), cobalt (Co), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), cadmiu...

Single nucleotide polymorphisms are the most common form of DNA alterations at the level of a single nucleotide in the genomic sequence. Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) were carried to identify potential risk genes or genomic regions by screening for SNPs associated with disease. Recent studies have shown that SCN9A comprises the NaV1.7 subu...
Nanoparticles have a wide range of physiochemical properties that can harm many organs, tissues, enzymatic and hormonal activities. Throughout the world, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are frequently used in consumer products. The aim of the current study was to synthesize the AgNPs and to investigate their impact on hormones, antioxidant enzymatic a...
The study of nanoparticles has grown in significance during the last several years. Nanoparticles are a kind of material that is composed of very tiny particles. Nanoparticle characteristics vary greatly depending on their size and form. The surface of a nanoparticle significantly affects its optical, mechanical, magnetic, and other characteristics...
Helicobacter pylori is a stomach bug that causes very serious stomach
problems. This gram-negative bacterium has thirty-five different species in
the Helicobacter genus, and some of these can be found in the gut lining.
People with low economic status have a significant rate of infection. This
chapter discusses the history, virulence factors, and m...
Fasciolosis is a severe trematode parasitic infection in sheep and goats caused by fasciola hepatica. It is classified as a chronic tropical disease and is prevalent in more than 50 nations, specifically where sheep and cattle are reared. This illness is more widespread in northern Pakistan, incurring major financial losses due to a decrease in she...
Baya weaver is found in floodplains of Pakistan and is famous for building retort shaped hanging nests. For this study, 24 samples of baya weaver (twelve from both sexes) were collected from the wild habitat to analyze morphometry, haematology, and gut contents. Morphometric parameters e.g., body weight was measured with the help of a weight balanc...
Food consumption is increasing due to rapid population growth. Fish is
one of the most important animal foods, providing a high amount of energy
in the form of proteins, essential amino acids, nutrients, vitamins, and
minerals. Antibiotics are used to control several pathogens that harm fish.
However, the use of antibiotics in fish causes numerous...
Objective: The study was conducted to investigate the gut content and record morphometric and hematological parameters in the common hoopoe (Upupa epops).
Materials and Methods: Twenty samples of healthy birds (10 from each sex) were collected from different locations in Okara District, Punjab, Pakistan, from September 2020 to March 2021. Birds we...
Sleep is one of the most important functions of the life. The disturbance in sleep or quality of sleep leads to several dysfunctions of the human body. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of sleep disorders, their possible risk factors and their association with other health problems. The data was collected from the educational community...
The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is a pandemic which outbreak from Wuhan China in late 2019. It has produced serious disturbances and unprecedented problems around the whole world including in worldwide healthcare systems. Severe corona viral acute syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) causing a severe viral pneumonia which began in December 2019 in Wuhan. Th...
Coronavirus causes infections from moderate to severe such as SARS and MERS.
