Introduction
Alexander Immel has been working as scientific researcher at the Institute of Archaeological Sciences at the University of Tübingen, at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History (now Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology) in Jena, at the Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology in Kiel and currently works as bioinformatician and data scientist at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Ostbayern in Regensburg, Germany.
