I would explore the behaviour of the consumers when they use olive oil and wine obtained in harsh environment e.g. mountain areas and, in particular, I wish to understand if they are willing to pay an extra price. Have you any advice related to this topic?
We analyze the food truck phenomenon in a specific urban area of Italy and we try to discuss the different food services offered by trucks i.e. traditional food truck and gourmet food truck. We take into consideration the gastronomic offer, the price menu and the vocational education of food truckers.
I am interested in food quality systems dedicated to safeguard tradition and culture in the food sector. The EU pursues the objectives of protecting and safeguarding European agro-food production through the creation and application of instruments such as food safety rules, the Common Agricultural Policy, the Rural Development Policy and food quality systems i.e. PDO, PGI and TSG. Sometimes these issues are developed and improved at local level e.g. the establishment of Traditional Foodstuffs in Italy (Ministerial Decree 350/99) or the Romanian legislation dedicated to the valorization of traditional products (Decree no. 724 of 29 July 2013 – Ordinul 724/2013).
Can anyone indicate other national rules as to traditional products? Thank you
