Introduction
I am a PhD Student at National Influenza Centre of Valladolid (Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valladolid). My research career started in retina, studying visual system development and pathologies, but switched to respiratory viruses later. My main research interest is the link between pain and respiratory viruses. Moreover, I work on the search of new predictive factors of prognosis.

Description
- My research topic was focused on AMD, using RPE in vitro models. Also, I collaborated in other research line on inherited retinal diseases, using mice in vivo models. I employed several cell and molecular biology techniques, such as confocal microscopy, western blotting, cell culture, TEER measurements, etc.
