Question
I´m working with flower cells of a plant that only flourish once a year, can you recommend me a fluorescent dye that can be used in fixed cells that allows me to visualize de membrane of the plant cell vacuole or its lumen?
Because of the pandemic, the original plan that was to visualize vacuoles with fm4-64 (the dye didn´t come on time to the lab) in live cells cannot be carried out, so I need to found a fluorescent dye that works well when used after fixation, preferably with an emission different from red.
Question
I have been reading about cytoplasmic strands and transvacuolar strands in plant cell, but its not very clear to me how vesicles and other bodies moves through it and whats is the role of f-actin in the TVS
