Introduction
My research aims to understand the impact of man on ecosystems and how the resulting ecological changes in turn influence society, to support the definition of sustainable management strategies. I carry out research on topics ranging from ecological modelling (my background) to theoretical and applied ecology, environmental impact assessment, ecosystem services, socio-ecological systems as well as nature conservation, especially in water bodies.
