Introduction
Dr.Y.A. Ajith Kumarayapa is a permanent academics of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka since 2003. He obtained Senior Lecturer Grade 2 promotion in 2008; upgraded to SL grade 1 in 2015. He obtained PhD in Information and Communication Engineering (2008) from Dept. of Electronics & Information Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China with Fulbright Research Fellowship awarded by Ministry of Higher education SL & CSC. For PhD research he specialized Microprocessors, DSP, Digital Image processing, ROI Coding ,Optoelectronic Sensors;Low bitrate transmission for design;implementation of unman observation aircrafts based Vision systems.Obtained MSc; U. of Perad., University of Colombo he obtained B.Sc.special Hons degree in Eng. Physics (Majoring Electronics Eng.& Computer HW)
