As a dedicated researcher and professor in the Department of Translation, College of Arts, at the University of Basrah, My current research investigates how audiovisual translation can bridge cultural gaps, with a special emphasis on subtitling, dubbing, in the modern era. besides, exploring the potential of machine translation in enhancing translation education. I aim to provide practical insights for educators, researchers, and industry professionals alike.
