Retinal disorders are one of the common eye problems and its complication affects the eyes. In some cases, the retinal diseases would not cause any symptoms, or they only show mild vision impairments. Finally, it causes no vision or blindness. So, earlier recognition of symptoms could help to avoid blindness. Routine screening is one of the methods...
Recently, blockchain time series data has been widely studied throughout the communities of machine learning and data mining. However, Blockchain time series data dynamic class maintenance is still challenging. Existing works on blockchain time series data classification have shown serious accuracy and class maintenance limitations. Therefore, this...
Recently, a huge effort has been pushed to the wireless broadcasting nature in the open area. However, the vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is disposed to various kinds of attacks. Hence, keeping the security in VANET is the most critical issue because of the VANET network related to human life. Thus, we propose a robust and lightweight security an...
Health Data clustering is a significant research direction aiming to extract knowledge from a continuous health data flow to support online health decisions. However, processing health data clusters is still a challenging task. Existing clustering approaches are subject to various limitations in terms of considering the neighbor clusters and conduc...
The users are usually familiar with the emails to be known and verified to communicate with each other securely. With the continuous use of emails as a popular communication way over the Internet, there is a severe threat that impacts the user of the Internet and society. This actual problem is known as spam. Spam detection is being more and more i...
This article investigates the cloud computing
models and their advantages and disadvantages, discussing the association between them and web-apps of healthcare monitoring systems. Also, it presents the major integration mechanism of some already developed medical MATLAB modules such as an innovative ECG diagnosis algorithm within a healthcare monit...
XML becomes the most important technology for data exchange and storage with the emergence of the World Wide Web (WWW). Moreover, the size of the XML database has also increased considerably, which causes large size space for storage and a long time for data transfer on the web. The existing XML compression techniques show some drawbacks in dealing...
IntroductionMedical diagnosis is a crucial step for patient treatment. However, diagnosis is prone to bias due to imbalanced datasets. To overcome the imbalanced dataset problem, simple minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) was proposed that can generate new synthetic samples at data level to create the balance between minority and majority class...
With the rapid growth of information systems in the various aspects of today’s life, data summarisation attracts high attention nowadays due to its importance in extracting useful information from massive amounts of data. Data summarisation techniques including clustering and aggregation play a significant role in the development of real-world appl...
The Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) is an eXtensible Markup Language (XML) based messaging protocol, which is widely used over the Internet. It supports interoperability by creating access between users and their service providers from the same or different platforms. However, the huge number and the large size of exchanged SOAP messages cause...
Medical data streams processing becomes increasingly important since it extracts critical information from a continuous flow of patient data. Various types of problems have been studied on medical data streams, such as classification, clustering, anomaly detection, etc.; however, efficient evaluation of cumulative frequency queries has not been wel...
Semi-Structured data has been extensively adopted in numerous web applications as a standard data exchange format. XML is one of the most popular formats on the web due to its wide usage in representing and transferring data. Most real-world applications require low latency for transferring a large amount of web data between clients and the applica...
In this paper, we proposed three modified classification models: (1) Decision tree, (2) Rough Set theory, and (3) Artificial Neural Network to make a decision about the dataset of Computer hardware. We evaluate the classification models based on the accuracy, length of rules and number of rules for each model. The experiments show that the decision...
Web data clustering has been widely studied in the data mining communities. However, dynamic maintenance of the web data clusters is still a challenging task. In this paper, we propose a novel framework called XClusterMaint which serves for both clustering and maintenance of the XML documents. For clustering, we take both structure and content into...
The Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) is a basic communication protocol in Web services, which is based on eXtensible Markup Language (XML). SOAP could suffer from high latency and bottlenecks that might occur due to the high network traffic caused by the large number of client requests and the large size of XML Web messages. Previous works have...
