Hello SEM and AMOS experts,
I hypothesized, as per theory, that my continuous moderator of social support weakens the positive relationship between job demands and job stress.
When i run interaction based moderation in AMOS, i get the following results which i am attaching as a file here.
My question being, am i wrong in assuming that there is a moderation but in opposite direction to what i hypothesized? i.e. Social support strengthens the positive relationship between job demands and job stress?
If so, It makes no sense logically and also theory wise. How to make meaning out of it?
Hello SEM experts,
I have a 2nd order reflective construct which have 6 first order factors all having 2 questions each. Can i combine those two questions for each 1st order factor by using item parceling approach for CFA and SEM? Actually i am trying to reduce the number of observed variables because of so many questions in my questionnaire. What are the implications if i do this?
I am using IBM AMOS for CB-SEM.
Hello everybody,
I have 4 second order reflective constructs (one of which is a mediator) and two first order non-categorical moderators.
1st second order reflective construct comprises of 3 first order reflective latent constructs
2nd second order construct contains 2 first order constructs
3rd and 4th also have two first order constructs each.
What technique should i use to calculate the sample size for this complex model which also involves a mediator and two non-categorical moderators. Any help please?
I plan to use structural equation modeling via AMOS. There are 64 items in total.
