Cell-generated forces play a major role in coordinating the large-scale behavior of cell assemblies, in particular during development, wound healing and cancer. Mechanical signals propagate faster than biochemical signals, but can have similar effects, especially in epithelial tissues with strong cell-cell adhesion. However, a quantitative descript...
The mechanical properties of biological tissues are key to the regulation of their physical integrity and function. Although the application of external loading or biochemical treatments allows to estimate these properties globally, it remains problematic to assess how such external stimuli compare with internal, cell-generated contractions. Here w...
I am looking for a way to mark extracellular DNA in a sample where 488 et 647 channels are already used. Does anybody know about a DNA marker that would work or do I have to change my staining next time.
Thanks a lot!
At the moment I am trying to mark my cells' nuclei with different dyes and I'm having troubles. They are NIH 3T3 fibroblasts. When adding Hoechst and after waiting between 0 to 30 min, I always have less than 10% of the cells marked...
I use 5ug/mL concentration. I also tried to double it without improvement...
I also tried Dapi, NucRed and S62, with similar results...
