Project
This project has two main goals: 1) to get to know the characteristics of the representation and reception of LGTBIQ + characters in serialfictions broadcasted on video on demand in the Spanish context, and 2) to determine to what extent and conditions these representations contribute to reduce prejudices (homophobia and transphobia) in different audiences. Furthermore, the project seeks to obtain relevant information for effective educational actions to reduce such prejudices in order to promote more tolerant, egalitarian, democratic andinclusive societies with the diversity of sexual orientation and gender identity.
