Introduction
I am a PhD student in the discipline of biological sciences at the University of Silesia. My main scientific interests include morphology, taxonomy, and evolution of true bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera). My research particularly focuses on sensory organs (sensilla), their various adaptations to the environment, and the evolutionary directions that they follow.

A trichobothrium is a complex sensory organ, which usually consists of a long, slender mechanoreceptive seta (trich), which is situated in a cuplike depression in the cuticle (bothrium). Nabidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Cimicomorpha), also called damsel bugs, are a relatively small family within which two subfamilies, Nabinae and Prostemmatinae, ar...

A new species of Fulvius Stål—F. attenboroughi sp. nov.—is diagnosed and described. Schmitzofulvius bigibber Gorczyca, 1998 is redescribed. Photographic images of habitus and genital structures, as well as scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of both species, are provided. Fulvius kerzhneri Gorczyca, 2000 is diagnosed. New records o...

Insecta: Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreidae) and a comparison with L. zonatus (Dallas, 1852) are presented. A novel approach that combines the advantages of field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM) was used to detail micromorphological structures. A simplified classification system for sensilla that elimi...

Simple Summary Several Leptoglossus Guérin-Méneville, 1831 species are important plant pests. Leptoglossus occidentalis (western conifer seed bug), a native of western North America, has become a highly successful worldwide invader that feeds on conifer cones and can be a significant pest in conifer seed orchards. Leptoglossus zonatus, or the large...
