Adolfo Antón Bravo holds a PhD in Information Sciences Studies and a Master's Degree in Pedagogical Aptitude at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is currently a technical staff at the National Agency of Scientific Research, Associate Professor at Carlos III University of Madrid and teaching partner at Open University of Catalunya, Alcala University of Madrid and Nebrija University of Madrid. He was in charge of the Open Data Lab at Medialab-Prado (Madrid City Council).

It is our purpose to examine some aspects of this media industry crisis in the so-called post-industrial era in Spain, attending to the following research questions: 1) Transition from industrial to post.-industrial society, and the role of media: Redefinition of news as a commodity; Regulation of media and their product, especially from intellectual property (copyright) law; and Implementation of business models and paywalls. 2) Evolution of digital language and its adaptation to news items. 3) How the hybrid media system deals with public issues, and following our previous research project, how legacy media deal with Income inequality.
