Introduction

Increase the knowledge about policy and practice of Internationalisation at home in Dutch higher education institutions and thereby increasing the awareness of and interest in this form of internationalisation.
Developing a research agenda for the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science on internationalisation of vocational and higher education. The project consists of four fases each resulting in a paper. 1. Inventory of recent publications on the added value of internationalisation of vocational and higher education in the Netherlands. 2. Literature review on the effect of internationalisation of higher education on students 3. Analysis of strategies for internationalisation of vocational and higher education institutions in the Netherlands. 4. Development of a research agenda for the next few years.
