This project is aimed to study different aspects of social immunity in social insects using an integrated approach. This research represent the basis of my PhD studies, and different species are used as model, ranging from Honey bees to ants. Behavioural, physiological and chemical strategies against pathogens and parasites have been studied using classical and molecular approaches.
