Clustering ensembles is a clustering technique which derives a better clustering solution from a set of candidate clustering solutions. Clustering ensemble methods have to address two distinct but interlinked problems: Generating multiple candidate solutions from the data and producing a final clustering solution. Our recently proposed clustering e...

Clustering ensembles are a common approach to clustering problem, which combine a collection of clustering into a superior solution. The key issues are how to generate different candidate solutions and how to combine them. Common approach for generating candidate clustering solutions ignores the multiple representations of the data (i.e., multiple...

Search Result Clustering (SRC) groups the results of a user query in such a way that each cluster represents a set of related results. To be useful to the user, the different cluster should contain the results corresponding to different possible meanings of the user query and the cluster labels should reflect these meanings. However, existing SRC a...

Entrepreneurship is gaining a vital role in the current era of crumbling economy to innovate, disrupt and discover new paradigms of business. People from business and government sector, academics and communities are keen to see the positive outcomes of this increasingly favourite topic. In this regard, web search engines and social media networks a...

Currently available web search engines and social media websites stick to their specific web traffic trends and do not provide generic overview of the whole web. We can better understand the current market and user interest about a specific product or topic or any term by analyzing all the trends from search engines and social media. Unfortunately,...

Clustering methods aim to find clusters or groups of similar objects in a given set of data. Common soft subspace clustering methods for text data find different clusters in subspaces using a weighted distance measure. The weighting scheme heavily affects the clustering performance and requires special consideration. Since text data has semantic in...
Conference Paper
Clustering is one of the fundamental data analysis techniques, which aims to find distinct groups of similar objects and discovers hidden structures in data. A recent clustering approach, clustering ensembles tries to derive an improved clustering solution based on previously generated different candidate clustering solutions. Clustering ensembles...

Question
I am thinking about frequent use of statistical methods in machine learning tasks/algos. You might have also heard about statistical machine learning. Whats your opinion about machine learning filed, do you think statistics and machine learning will eventually merge together or they might find different paths.
Question
I am looking forward to know about your experience and scenario where one clustering from one approach is better then other.
Question
There are a number of measures such as F-measure but I am not satisfied with their evaluation criteria.
