This paper investigates the emerging challenges of conflict detection and mitigation in Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN). Conflicts between xApps can arise that affect network performance and stability due to the disaggregated nature of O-RAN. This work provides a detailed theoretical framework of Extended Application (xApp)-level conflicts, i.e.,...
The advent of Open Radio Access Network (RAN) has revolutionized the field of RAN by introducing elements of native support of intelligence and openness into the next generation of mobile network infrastructure. Open RAN paves the way for standardized interfaces and enables the integration of network applications from diverse vendors, thereby enhan...

Open Radio Access Network (RAN) was introduced recently to incorporate intelligence and openness into the upcom-ing generation of RAN. Open RAN offers standardized interfaces and the capacity to accommodate network applications from external vendors through Extended Applications (xApps), which enhance network management flexibility. The Near Real T...
Fragmentation with crosstalks is the major obstacle in spectrally-spatially elastic optical networks, which suppresses resource utilization while degrading the quality-of-transmission. To overcome this issue, this paper first-time proposes a proactive fragmentation management scheme based on batch processing while satisfying both inter-core and int...
Signal transmission using counter-propagation nowadays is adopted to enhance resource utilization in spectrally-spatially elastic optical networks (SS-EONs), where inter-mode and inter-core crosstalks always degrade signal quality and become bottlenecks for high transport capacity. In this paper, we propose BPRIA for the first time, a Bi-Partitioni...
Fragmentation occurs in elastic optical networks (EONs) due to dynamic lightpath assignment and tearing down in the network, which is considered as one of the major challenging issues for resource allocation. It is difficult to utilize fragmented slots in the network during the allocation process. Therefore, it is necessary to manage and suppress f...
In space division multiplexing-elastic optical networks (SDM-EONs), crosstalk and fragmentation are the significant factors determining overall resource utilization. Crosstalk and fragmentation management spectral resource allocation schemes can enhance the overall resource utilization in SDM-EONs. This paper proposes three crosstalk and fragmentat...
Spectrally-spatially elastic optical networks (SS-EONs) have been considered nowadays to overcome the physical barrier and enhance the transport capacity, where enhancing spectrum utilization while satisfying inter-core and inter-mode crosstalks is always challenging. This paper proposes a priority-based crosstalk-avoided core, mode and spectrum al...

Electromyography (EMG) signals are broadly used in various clinical or biomedical applications, prosthesis or rehabilitation devices, Muscle-Computer Interface (MCI), Evolvable Hardware Chip (EHW) development and many other applications. Electromyography (EMG) signal records the myopathy from nonlinear subjects in both time domain and frequency dom...
