Introduction
I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Makassar, Indonesia. My research interests include mangrove forests, ecosystem services, economic valuation, biodiversity, marine tourism, forest degradation and management, environmental remote sensing, biomass, and carbon stock, and climate change mitigation and adaptation in the interface between development, environmental management, and land use change.
