I may recommend reading the following article for the relationship existing between strategic thinking and knowledge management:
Iraj Tavakoli, Judith Lawton, (2005) "Strategic thinking and knowledge management", Handbook of Business Strategy, Vol. 6 Iss: 1, pp.155 - 160

If the strategy of the enterprise is pursue innovation, knowledge sharing will increase.
I will soon have a paper proving this, follow my project "Is knowledge sharing between enterprises of the same group influenced by innovation and cooperation for innovation?"

Dear Maram:
I would suggest to read Peter Senge and follow his idea about "learning organizations", there you may find important links between strategy and information sharing.
