Dear Senior colleagues, please, let's honor the humble call from Prof. Parisa for this conference. It is an important gathering for sharing knowledge in food and agricultural research.

As researchers, I think we are the people chosen or motivated to solve the world problems by our constant questionning mind that is skilfull enough to think and make the world a better place.

So, I think it is better for us to Promote and encourage Prof Parisa's call for the gathering at a thinking table to try addressing the world problems rather than throwing negative or destructive words to each other which may end up increasing the problems-- and this is not Professional, I think.

During international scientific conferences, scientists and researchers have the opportunity to meet other scientists who conduct research in similar, related or analogous problems. Consequently, international scientific conferences may facilitate the setting up of international research teams for joint research.

It depends on the topic, place, financial backers and motive!

Of course! Any researcher would like to discuss with people working in similar areas, to share ideas and collaborate where necessary. International conferences give exposure to researchers and their work. The challenge is the fact that many need some funding to actualize this desire, unfortunately these funding supports only works that are relevant to them.

Yes, international conferences brings about interactions and collaborations. In addition, it opens up new vista of knowledge on subject matters that often leads to new postulates & theories that brings about breakthroughs in research. While I agree funding plays a major role, it shouldn't be much of challenges now with many opportunities from sponsors and donors. However, I totally agree that this is still an issue in least developed countries (LDC's) of the world. All the same, internet facilities has made it very convenient to hold e-conferences where ideas could be shared & will not be as costly as physical travels but could make similar impact. The challenges that could be faced here is the availability of the internet facility along with the accessories in which power supply is key. However, the giant strides in the use of solar energy has brought some level of mitigation against power inadequacies in many of the LDC's.

Participation in International conferences provide a forum for scientific interactions and enhance possibility of future collaborations besides providing a good opportunity of quality publications. However, securing funds for attending the same has limitations.
