Why disaster communication has been more important than disaster risk communication?

If no other database is available, Is there any other source to get data regarding past disaster events?

Our company forecasts disasters before they occurr. As far as earthquakes are concerned our company uses non seismic methods to forecast them.

I am looking for a compilation of means and methods available in literature to forecast earthquakes using non seismic method.

Considering a Trans boundary as well as Climate disaster prone River Basin, at-least how many years of historical data will be suitable for Future climate scenarios projections?

Disaster Risk Recovery/ Mitigation efforts are one of the most spent sectors worldwide as large number of lives and infrastructures are ravaged worldwide by recurring hazards. Since recovery efforts are blended with multitude of factors including enthusiasm, awareness, dedications and helping hands(expertise, funds and endorsement of policies) it is not easy to interpret in terms of economy. I am nowadays working on questions of logistics related to malnutrition decrease in Emerging countries. I am trying to search to which field those researches can be related and I found that almost all humanitarian logistics works deal with disasters or emergencies, even during the disaster or post-disaster, but I have difficulties to find non-emergency works. Can someone help me to find a terminology to name this logistics field and know if some authors worked on this. I found a few works on social improvement or social welfare logistics, but the field does not seem to be unified and maybe the terminology is different. Thank you in advance
