Which is the best books to learn scale construction techniques in social science research except Edwards?

I would like to ask for your advice.

The situation is like this: I have 1 IV which is measured on a Likert scale and 1 DV which has 4 categories. I also want to test the moderation of several other variables some of which are categorial, dichotomous, or scale.

Can I use Process Macro for such an analysis and if I can should I run several models independently- with one moderator at a time- or should I add all the moderators together?

My university recently bought SPSS 29 Faculty Premium Package, the vendor is thinkEDU, the said AMOS is part of it, that is one of the reason we bought, but there is no AMOS inside it, i could not locate? How to confirm if it has or not, if it has where can I find and use AMOS? Please advice.

Looking for advice about path analysis in Mplus.

I have produced a model, reported the direct and indirect relationships, and have model fit statistics. However I am struggling to make sense of them and think I may have made an error.

The model fit results are as follows:

χ2 = < 0.001, p < 0.01; CFI = 1; TLI = 1; SRMR = <0.001; RMSEA = <0.001

It feels like there might be an error here as we have perfect CFI and TLI, but significant chi-squared. Any advice about how to make sense of this would be appreciated.

I can provide more detail on the model and the study as required. I have attached the model, the Mplus input and the model fit results.

I wrote two manuscripts regarding validations of two different instruments using a same sample.

Even though the two instruments are different, the demographic description is similar because they used same sample. In this case, it could be considered as plagiarism??

Is there anyone who wrote different manuscripts using a same sample?

I published one manuscript about A instrument. The other manuscript about B instrument is under review and one of reviewers pointed out that the manuscript had a risk of plagiarism.

In this case, what should I do??

I am currently working with SEM for my paper. While checking my model fit I am facing a lot of problem. I am clicking the modifications indices option in calculate estimate, but while running model fit in plugins, it automatically clicked modifications indices and residual and showing error.
