Which correlation method (pearson or spearman's) is best suitable while examining the concurrent validity of a modified construct?
plz, give the reason for your preference

Deciding which correlation method to choose;
1) the data type needs to be taken into account first. Is the score taken in the form of continuous data or just Yes - No? This is important. The importance of scoring is important
If you have continuous data you can use both but more Pearson is used
2.) It is also important that the data show normal distribution
If Pearson shows normal distribution, Spearman suggests if it does not show normal distribution ...
3) Your sample group if you are below 30 people, you can also do Spearman
