Managing soil salinity is a major issue in many regions of the world. For instance, this issue is common in Morocco, forcing farmers to employ acid fertilizers to acidify the nutrient solution, albeit this is not always evident. To aid in their absorption, it is required to deliver a number of nutrients by foliar application (Fe, Cu, Zn).

I would like to know about publications and researches have been done to investigate the impact of mud in improving the degraded soils and making them optimal for agricultural cropping.

I am trying to find the factor K value of some soil samples using soil texture only, but sadly you need to also know the % of soil organic matter. The only data I have is only the % of silt, sand and clay. Is there any way I can do to estimate the organic matter in my soil?

I understand that the percent of total ammonia present as un-ionized ammonia (NH3) is dependent on pH and temperature, but I am trying to figure out exactly why and how. I have seen statements that the equilibrium constant of the ammonia/ammonium equilibrium reaction is dependent on pH and temperature, but I believe that this is sloppy terminology. A change in temperature would result in a change in the constant, but changing the pH would not. Changing pH would be akin to a change in concentration, wouldn't it?

I am trying to get a better understanding of equilibrium constants and how they relate to pH in general, and would appreciate any help. Any insights would be appreciated.

How do soil microorganisms play an important role in decomposition of soil organic matter and importance of soil microbes and nutrient recycling for crop productivity?

I would like to attend a conference on agroecology in the coming year. I have seen some interesting ones (e.g., in Jan 2023 in Seville) but all past the deadline for abstract submissions.
