What are the most recent studies on presentism?

Presentism is a new trend in contemporary literary criticism. It succinctly explores the representation of the present in literary texts. Seen thus, presentism is totally different from historicism which addresses the articulation of the past in literature.

Dear @ Esma Mustafa ,
You can adopt a presentist approach to literary texts through focusing on how a past literary work is analyzed in the terms of the present. Shakespeare is a good exemplar for such approach. Craig Bourne's Presentism for Future (2009) is a good start for you .
Wish the best of luck in your project!

This type of literary work interpretation involves moralistic responsibility in which the interpreter should carry to be bias in his/her criticism or interpretation text.
