What is the protocol to assess snakebit epidemology in indian condition

I would like to share a method (gastric suction) which avoids, in most cases, or minimizes the death of animals in diet studies.

I wish to use trail cameras in my teaching. The course is about vertebrates and the images from the trail cameras will be a learning resource among others. The main goal is that the students learn species identification.

My research aim is to provide a handbook or strategy for professionals seeking to design or maintain a successful and ecological facility for the conservation, education and welfare of animal species. I plan to focus my research on 3 categories;

Animal Welfare and comfort, specifically how the design of the enclosure affects the comfort and happiness of the species housed. Questioning staff and handlers as well as designers on how high a priority animal conservation, sustainability and visitor education rate when in design process.

Visitor education, focusing on how effective the educational experience is for the visitor and to what depth their understanding of conservation and animal welfare is dependant on the individuals interest and experience.

Lastly, sustainability and how it can be implemented in a design sense to individual enclosure design but also at an urban context scale. Particularly energy consumption of a zoology park, ecological design and Jon Coe's idea of 'deep green' design.

When data collecting are there any benchmarks, examples, previous experiments, questions, leading professionals to ask, or approaches that could be used? Any assistance and opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Which book would you recommend on the selection of statistical tests in biology or zoology?

I have several years of encounter data for spoor on a network of transects in an isolated National Park. The data do not include a distance metric (therefore the programme Distance doesn't work), but are simply record the frequency and location of encounters along a network of transects. The study species has a home range of approximately 1km2, is it possible to estimate population density from these data? Thank you!
