What is the objective and mean of "Call For Papers"?

If you are not a well known person in your field of research or personally not well known to the editor concerned, avoid paying attention to "Call For Papers".

They are mostly those journals which publish papers hurriedly by charging so called "processing fees".

It is just to inform about paper submitting with its associated important dates. It is very civilized style.

Call for paper.....time period for receiving articles from authors that will be anounced by a journal and/or a conference.

In academic circles, in the UK and US, Call For Papers (CFP) is typically a term asking researchers (usually postgraduates or professional scholars - lecturers, professors) if they wish to speak in a typical slot at a conference, often in a "panel" of three such presentations.

Conference "papers" are usually 20 minute individual or joint presentations. Speakers are given the choice whether to present by reading what they have written ("presenting a paper") or by speaking more free-style - often using powerpoint or other assistance in both cases.

On news groups and university websites, when editors and others ask for written work (academic articles or book chapters), they tend to modify the "CFP" phrase: "Call for Chapters" etc. However, conference papers can also later find their way into print, perhaps selected by the conference organizers, either to be reproduced in a collection from the conference (creating a collection called a "Conference proceedings" of "papers") or extended to form the basis of book chapters or journal articles.

The term is popular amongst research fellows. It’s mostly used for conference/paper publication events.

A Call For Paper (CFP) or Call For Abstract is simply an announcement done by academic institution, journal, conference etc. for inviting enteries( abstracts/manuscripts from the authors who wish to publish their work from the same areas decided by the inviter.
